People ask me how to get their home sold quickly? There are a few variables to consider.

  1. What is the market doing?
  2. Is your home in great shape?
  3. Have you picked the right agent to represent your home for sale?
  4. Is your home priced right?

Most people start their property search online, this is more and more true each day. In order to have an eye-catching listing, you need great photography. I offer professional photography with all of my listings. Also, some homes get an aerial video and aerial photos, if the location is right for this format.

It is important to start to view your home in the eyes of a buyer. I like to walk the property and point out what a seller can do to impress buyers with very little or no monetary investment on their part. Little maintenance issues that can be fixed, or there might be something that needs a good cleaning can make all the difference in making a great first impression

Fresh paint is always a good choice, only if you plan on using a neutral color palette. I do not always recommend painting bedrooms, only the main living areas or any rooms that may show wear and tear or scuffs and scratches.

There are many aspects to the psychology of selling someone a home and making a good first impression at the start is key. Whether it be great photos, or just having a neat and tidy home which makes a great impression on a buyers mind, I will be there to help you along the way and offer guidance. It is my pleasure to talk to home sellers and let them know all the tips and tricks I have learned through the school of hard knocks.  Experience matters when it comes to selling your largest financial investment.
